Kerrie, "Queenie" , grew up in Sydney and now lives on the Northern Beaches.

Queenie

Kerrie’s pseudonym "Queenie" was taken from her old Aunt Queenie, who was "a little out there, and slightly eccentric". This is also a perfect description of Kerrie’s art, so she adopted her aunt's name for her art.

She’s passionate about colour and shapes, not only in her paintings but also in fabric and "things that make you stop and look". So she also produces individually designed artefacts from quilts to scarves.

A lot of her art is sold through "Avenue Joffre".

Queenie, based in Sydney on the Northern Beaches,  has been producing art / artefacts for more than 25 years.  Her artwork ranges from traditional paintings to constructions made from many materials. All entirely unique with the Queenie creative touch, sometimes slightly naïve and often playful,  but always colourful and individual.

Vintage Clothing
The unique Queenie label has all the same characteristics of her art.  Each piece of clothing is an entirely unique piece of art. It will always cause others to look twice and draw special attention.
